New Core Maths and A Level resources

If you’re using Core Maths to support students’ maths skills in other A Level subjects, download our new mapping guides. We’ve just published these for A Level Geography, A Level Biology, A Level Psychology and A Level PE. Each guide shows you the links between Core Maths and the other qualification’s content, helping you ensure students are fully supported and also showing different contexts that the maths content could be taught with.

Core Maths mapping guides are available from Teach Cambridge. Select either ‘Core Maths A’ or ‘Core Maths B’ in the bar at the top, then in the menu go to ‘Teaching’ and then ‘New to this qualification’.

For A Level Maths A, Maths B (MEI), Further Maths A and Further Maths B (MEI), we’ve just published new alternative papers based on the summer 2023 question papers. Used with the original papers, these alternative papers provide the opportunity for more practice and to monitor progress.

A Level Maths and Further Maths alternative papers are also available from Teach Cambridge. Select your qualification in the bar at the top, then in the menu go to ‘Assessment’, then ‘Exams’ and then ‘Alternative papers’.

Examiner opportunities

Would you like to mark with us?

We're currently recruiting summer 2024 examiners for Core Maths, A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths.

Marking typically takes 2-3 weeks and takes place within May to July. Full training will be provided and it’s an excellent opportunity to work within the exam system, as well as develop your own understanding of a qualification and how it is assessed.
