"I've worked at OCR on the history portfolio since 2007. Previously I've held roles at Cambridge International Examinations and for an educational publisher. I have a degree in Economic and Social History from the University of York and a Masters in Modern History from UCL.

"In my spare time, I enjoy crosswords and playing snooker."

"I've worked for Cambridge University Press and Assessment since September 2019 and joined OCR in October 2022. Before that I taught for 17 years, mainly in a state school but for one year as Boarding Master in an Independent. I've been a Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Head of Humanities and SSAT Advanced Skills Teacher, supporting students and staff both pastorally and academically. I've written and contributed to A Level and GCSE textbooks, as well as written resources and presented for the Historical Association and Schools History Project. I've marked GCSE and A Level History for exam boards since 2007.

"My degree is in History and I enjoy reading non-fiction, particularly around the Civil War and early Crusading periods. I’m happiest with my family, friends and dogs."
