Move to Cambridge Technicals

Cambridge Technicals - Assess your Options

"It really meets the needs of our students.  It's so accessible for them, it's so relevant for the job opportunities and their further study that they're wanting to go into"

Laura Drysdale, Head of Sport, Minsthorpe Academy on teaching Cambridge Technicals

Assess your Options

The DfE has announced specific Level 3 vocational qualifications will be defunded. If you're currently delivering non-examined Cambridge Technicals (2012) or the equivalent BTECs and want to continue to offer Level 3 recognised vocational qualifications as part of a study programme, you can very easily move to a Level 3 Cambridge Technical (2016).   All externally examined Cambridge Technicals (2016) qualifications are unaffected by the funding change.

Our Cambridge Technical Level 3 qualifications support your students' lifelong learning journey, are included on the 16–18 key stage 5 performance tables (up to 2022) in England and attract UCAS Tariff points.

We know you want time to teach and not form filling so you’ll find the administration for Cambridge Technicals really straightforward and you'll find we have an extensive range of teaching and assessment resources, support and training for all our Cambridge Technicals.    Discover the qualifications below.
