Hello Colleague,

We hope all has been going well for you this term and your half-term break is full of good times.😊

The entries deadline for the summer 2024 exams is Wednesday 21 February. Please ensure your exams officer has made your entries by then.

Are you interested in marking with us in summer 2024? We still have spaces available to mark Core Maths, A Level Maths A, A Level Maths B (MEI), A Level Further Maths A and A Level Further Maths B (MEI). It’s a great opportunity to work within the exam system, as well as develop your own understanding of a qualification and how it is assessed.

The provisional summer 2025 exam timetables are now available on our key dates and timetables webpage. Please submit any feedback on these to the JCQ centre support by Friday 23 February.

As ever, please get in touch if you have any queries or if we can give you any further support. Our role is to support you as you deliver our qualifications.

For Level 3 FSMQ: Additional Maths, Steven has written ‘Developing confidence with algebra’. In it he looks at how the FSMQ algebra content will also support students in their GCSE (9-1) Maths exams, as well as introducing them to the more formal approaches necessary for AS & A Level Maths. He also includes some suggestions for teaching ideas and resources.

Finally, Steven has also written ‘A Level Maths: what practice material is available?’, where he takes a look at the huge range of different A Level Maths practice materials available from our Teach Cambridge site to help students prepare for their exams.
