Hi Colleague
We hope you've had a good week. Today is #ChristmasJumperDay, so here's some of the team, and furry friends, sporting their jumpers and outfits!
In this week's roundup:
- summer 2022 advance information:
- we've published a summary of what to expect in advance information
- the JCQ has also published new FAQs to support students, schools and colleges
- Ofqual's Chief Regulator has written a letter to schools and colleges
- drama teachers: we've published a subject information update confirming summer 2022 arrangements for submitting non-exam assessment (NEA) for GCSE Drama and AS and A Level Drama and Theatre
- PE teachers: we’ve updated our forms and moderation process for submitting marks and assessment evidence, and we've published a graphical timeline to help you when assessing, filming and submitting your students’ evidence. We've also confirmed the contingency filming plans for AS, A Level and GCSE Physical Education, if visiting moderation can't take place for the Summer 2022 series. See our subject update for further details.
- autumn 2021 results day information and support for teachers, exams officers, students and parents
- our Chief Executive has recorded a special video message of thanks to everyone in schools and colleges
- more festive-themed activities! This week, we're sharing our Music team's favourite Christmas tracks and our English team's recommended reads for 2022. If you missed last week's classic quiz, nature & sustainability quiz and festive recipes, don't worry – you can find them all at the end of this email.
If you've now finished for the year, we hope you have a lovely, relaxing break and look forward to working with you in 2022. For those of you who finish next week, remember we're still here to support you and your students – please don't hesitate to get in touch or browse our FAQs if you have any questions.
Best of luck to all students getting their exam results next week. Remember, results can be issued to students from 8am on results day.
Just to let you know that next Friday (17 December) will be our final weekly roundup of 2021.
Best wishes
