Key dates for current Cambridge Technicals qualifications
The DfE published a list of qualifications that overlap with Wave 1 and 2 T Levels on 11 May 2022. Most of our Cambridge Technicals (2016) qualifications did not overlap with T Levels and will continue to be funded until our redeveloped qualifications are launched. See the tables below for more details.
Final two-year courses from September 2023
The following qualifications no longer attract funding from July 2024. Therefore, the final two-year course for these existing qualifications will begin in September 2023. If approved, our new Cambridge Advanced Nationals (AAQ), will be available for first teaching from September 2025.
Students starting in September 2024 will not attract funding for the Cambridge Technical Diploma and Extended Diploma in IT.
