As the paid-for, follow up course to our free 'Exam Review' events, these sessions offer you a platform to deepen your understanding of assessment expectations, marking criteria, candidate work and outcomes, learning from past-series’ examinations. You'll also explore ideas to enhance teaching and learning for future preparation and delivery.

Exploring the NEA

Why attend? These events focus on practice and application: providing you with opportunities to work through past-series’ materials, including candidate exemplars. They're designed to support you in understanding how and why a range of exemplars secured the marks they did, empowering you to apply this knowledge to your own teaching and delivery.

Exam review

Why attend? Our free review events are designed to support with understanding exam outcomes and performance, whilst also preparing you for future series. These events will help you to reflect upon and review your centre’s performance in order to better inform and plan for improvements.

Enhancing your teaching

Why attend? These events focus on a range of subject and assessment-specific themes, all designed to build your knowledge and generate new ideas. Sessions could cover anything from Assessment Objectives and securing top band marks, to skills and knowledge enhancement.

Why attend? These sessions provide a platform for you to ask our internal experts the questions that matter most to you. They provide an additional space for you to build confidence in successfully delivering internally assessed NEA components.

Online, self-paced learning

Why attend? Direct your own time with our on-demand, online learning modules designed to fit around you. Courses are designed to build knowledge and confidence on internally and externally assessed components. Each module is interactive, providing feedback on activities that allow you to get to grips with mark schemes and their application.

Baselines Assessments from Cambridge CEM

Upcoming events from CEM

CEM (The Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring) offers baseline assessments which enable you to quickly identify and address any strengths and weaknesses. You’ll also be able to use the assessment to monitor students’ progress, create personalised learning programmes and identify your more able students.

The Cambridge Wellbeing check – a new student-led assessment developed by researchers at the University of Cambridge. An online assessment that takes around 20 minutes, the check is designed to promote positive student wellbeing and provide schools with a clear understanding of how your students feel, and where they need support.
