Recent resources for A Level, GCSE and FSMQ: Additional Maths

This term we’ve published several brand-new resources for you.

We published our first set of A Level Maths A alternative papers last month. These are amended versions of the original June 2019 question papers (the questions are similar, but the new papers have different values/equations/etc. in questions, so students need to make different calculations). By using them together with the original papers, they enable you to monitor your students' progress between assessments, or you could just use them as a normal mock.

Also recently published are our series of formulae resources for GCSE and Level 3 FSMQ: Additional Maths.

NEA support blog for Entry Level Maths

If you deliver Entry Level Maths, we appreciate it will have been a while since you marked and moderated the practical task.

To give you a choice of courses, we offer two versions of our A Level Maths and Further Maths qualifications. One is designed by us and the other in partnership with independent charity Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI).

A Level Maths B (MEI) is designed with students in mind. Integrating problem solving, modelling and the use of technology in a real world context, the qualification provides students with the maths skills they need to move into the world of work, or progress onto Higher Education.

To give you a taste of the wide range of planning and teaching resources available to support your teaching of this A Level, we've created a free sample pack of resources for you to download. The pack includes:

  • Sample Assessment Materials
  • Check-In test
  • Curriculum planner
  • Student guide
  • Revision guide
  • Posters
  • Delivery guides
  • Sample MEI activities.
