Results day

With results days nearly upon us, our support pages have all the latest information you’ll need to prepare.

Our useful infographic can be printed off for use on results day. It shows how centre assessment grades are standardised for GCSEs, AS and A Levels plus other general qualifications.

Lucy Carey, Subject Advisor for psychology, recently spoke to Comberton Village College to find out what measures they are putting in place to help students celebrate their success, deal with any disappointments and ensure staff and student well-being on the day.

Our support section for students includes a wealth of information for your classes, including information about the processes this summer and results slip guidance.

New maths resources

We’ve published a number of new resources in the last few weeks.

For GCSE (9-1) Mathematics we’ve just published our first set of Alternative papers. These are amended June 2019 papers (different numbers, same words). Used with students in conjunction with the June 2019 papers, they can help show your students' progression.

New maths resources

For both A Level Maths A and Maths B we’ve published Pure Mathematics Progress Tests, built from the ExamBuilder bank of questions. Find them within 'Practice materials'.

Also for A Level Maths A we’ve published a zip folder of Cambridge Elevate ‘Gateway to A Level’ revision sheets. These worksheets from the Cambridge University Press A Level Mathematics for OCR series help students recover skills learnt in GCSE Mathematics, ahead of starting studies for A Level Mathematics. Find them within 'Teacher guides'.

For A Level Further Maths B (MEI) we’ve published a new Section Check In test for the Mechanics option, covering ‘Vectors and variable forces’.

There’s still more to come, keep an eye on @OCR_Maths for the latest updates.
