Alternative papers for GCSE (9-1) Maths

We’ve just begun publishing a brand new set of alternative papers for GCSE (9-1) Maths.

These GCSE (9-1) Maths alternative papers are amended versions of the original November 2021 question papers (the questions are similar, but the new papers have different values/equations/etc. in questions, so students need to make different calculations).

By using them together with the original papers, they enable you to monitor your students' progress between assessments, or you could just use them as a normal mock.

Many of you have been requesting these resources, so we’ve begun publishing individual papers as soon as they’re ready rather than hanging on until the full set is ready to be published. The alternative papers for J560/01 and J560/04 are now published and the remaining four alternative papers will be published in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on @OCR_Maths to see when the remaining papers are published.

We’ve just published a brand new set of alternative papers for A Level Maths B (MEI). These follow the recently published A Level Maths A alternative papers.

These A Level Maths alternative papers are amended versions of the original June 2019 question papers (the questions are similar, but the new papers have different values/equations/etc. in questions, so students need to make different calculations).

By using them together with the original papers, they enable you to monitor your students' progress between assessments, or you could just use them as a normal mock.

Calculators for AS/A Level Maths and Further Maths blog

In his latest blog, Steven provides an updated summary of the calculator requirements for AS/A Level Maths and Further Maths assessments.

Don't forget however, many different forms of technology will be useful in supporting students in learning content. What you use in the classroom is entirely up to you.
