Planning and teaching resources include:

  • Curriculum planners - we’ve produced a high level curriculum planning aid for each subject which suggests how you could teach these qualifications over two or three years
  • Schemes of work - available for every unit plus we've also produced some editable templates which will help you to create your own

Assessment resources include:

  • Past papers and mark schemes together with unit level examiner reports*
  • Candidate exemplars*
  • Student guides to the NEA - quick guides, aimed at your students with a summary of key points about the assignments, including the importance of avoiding plagiarism
  • Sample Assessment Materials for both examined and non-examined units

ExamBuilder 

Use ExamBuilder to create bespoke papers giving your students the opportunity to practice and build confidence ahead of their exams. Choose from a large bank of questions and custom mark schemes, with the option to add cover pages to simulate real examinations

Active Results 

Our Active Results service allows you to review your students' exam performance. Review reports on the performance of individual students, cohorts and whole schools, analyse results at question item level, and help identify trends across your centre.

  • Starting to Teach - if you've made the decision to teach a Cambridge National book a place on our online Starting to Teach sessions. Familiarise yourself with our specification and assessment. You'll also find out about the range of resources and support available. 

Existing Cambridge Nationals teachers

  • Ask the Moderator/Subject Advisor- a Q&A opportunity with pointers towards resources and other sessions that can be used to develop your understanding of the assessment in key areas

  • Exploring the exam - these sessions offer you a platform to deepen your understanding of assessment expectations, marking criteria, candidate work and outcomes, learning from past-series’ examinations. You'll also explore ideas to enhance teaching and learning for future preparation and delivery.

  • Exploring the NEA - These events focus on practice and application: providing you with opportunities to work through past-series’ materials, including candidate exemplars. They're designed to support you in understanding how and why a range of exemplars secured the marks they did, empowering you to apply this knowledge to your own teaching and delivery.

  • Enhancing your teaching - these events focus on a range of subject and assessment-specific themes, all designed to build your knowledge and generate new ideas. Sessions could cover anything from Assessment Objectives and securing top band marks, to skills and knowledge enhancement.  

Online and on-demand training for internal assessment
